New Delhi: Amid heightened speculation about a Union Cabinet reshuffle, a report on Thursday claimed that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has asked the NDA government ministers to present "self appraisal" report at a meeting scheduled next week.

According to a 'Times Of India' report, the meeting is scheduled to be held on June 30.


The report also quoted top government sources that the PM has asked all NDA ministers to make a presentation to the PM about their performance since the BJP government presented its second budget.


The June 30 meeting comes at a time when there are intense speculations about a possible cabinet reshuffle before the Monsoon Session of Parliament with focus on giving representation to poll-bound states like UP and Punjab which are scheduled to go for assembly polls next year.


According to reports, the PM is expected to rejig the Union Cabinet after examining the self appraisal report to be submitted by his ministers on June 30.


The PM has been reviewing the performance of his ministers periodically with focus on fast-tracking implementation of key government schemes to ensure a visible impact on the ground before the next round of crucial state polls.


Due to intense speculation over Union Cabinet, a "bitter but healthy" competition is going on among the ministries and departments to get the best rating on the MyGov portal.
