UP shame: Six-year-old raped during Mahashivratri festivities; accused still at large
A six-year-old Dalit girl was allegedly raped by a youth in a village here, police said on Tuesday.
Ballia: A six-year-old Dalit girl was allegedly raped by a youth in a village here, police said on Tuesday.
The girl had gone to take part in Shivratri festivities yesterday when she was lured by an unidentified youth to a secluded spot and allegedly raped, police station in-charge Ram Saroj said.
The girl has been admitted to hospital, Saroj said.
On the complaint of the girl's mother, an FIR has been registered and hunt is on to nab the accused.
