According to reports, Sharma was visiting his sister in Ghaziabad and was stopped at the society gate by the watchman. This did not go well with Sharma`s personal security staff.

One of the housing guards told ANI, “It took hardly two minutes for us to open the gate and yet minister ji’s security thrashed and abused us.”

The people of housing society are angry as it is not the way to behave. We will approach police, said a housing society official.

Here is the video that has gone viral:

Later, the minister said that when he came to know of the incident, he apologised to the society guard without finding out who is guilty.

He also added that he has now suspended his security officer and has asked the police to inquire into the incident.

"I never tried to justify the incident. As soon as I got to know of the incident, without trying to find out who is at fault, I suspended my security guard and asked police to take action," Sharma said.

"I do not even know the reason for the scuffle, it is police`s job to find that out and take action," he added.
