According to a report in India Today, two engineering students from Kolkata have found a solution to the problem and they called it 'Magic Mirror'.

It allows consumers to try out apparels virtually!

Debjyoti Dey and Dipankar Sinha have created a 'virtual dressing room' by using 3D imaging and kinect sensors that allows people to try out their dresses by simply standing in front of a mirror which map a person's physical attributes.

"The mirror maps the contours of a person's body and a 3D image of the apparel is superimposed on the person. By this, one can try out at least 100 apparels in 100 seconds," the report quoted Debajyoti as saying.

Both Dey and Singa are third year students at MCKV engineering institute.

They said that they have come up with the idea after reports of Union Minister Smriti Irani discovering a hidden camera in a trial room hit headlines last year.

The duo hopes to launch their product in the market soon.
