New Delhi: Newly-appointed Minister of State for Rural Development Ram Kripal Yadav today assumed the charge, alongwith his other two colleagues Parshottam Rupala and Ramesh Chandappa Jigajinagi, who also took over their respective portfolios.

All three Ministers of State were accompanied by their senior cabinet colleagues Narendra Singh Tomar, who also holds the portfolio of Rural Development, Panchyati Raj Drinking Water & Saniatation and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Ananth Kumar.


Yadav was allocated the Rural Development Ministry in Tuesday's cabinet reshuffle. He earlier held the portfolio of Minister of State for Drinking Water and Sanitation.


He replaces Sudarshan Bhagat, who is now Minister of State in Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, the new Ministers in taking charge of their offices.


While the other two -- Parshottam Rupala and Ramesh Chandappa Jigajinagi are new entrants in the Cabinet.
