8-year-old writes letter to PM Modi over traffic congestion, PMO acknowledges
An 8-year-old boy has written a letter to PM over traffic problem to which he has received a reply from PMO.
New Delhi: In what may give respite to hundreds of commuters from hour-long traffic congestions at a key junction in northwest Bengaluru, an 8-year-old boy has shared the problem directly with the prime minister for which he has been assured of an appropriate action.
Abhinav, a class III student and resident of Doddabommasandra, Vidyaranyapura , takes 45 minutes to commute a distance of 3km from his home to the National Public School in Yeshwanthpur.
In his letter, he had written that an under-construction flyover over a railway crossing on the Outer Ring Road, near Goraguntepalya junction, was causing traffic jams. He also wrote that due to the jams people's health and his studies are getting affected, The Times of India reported.
“It's risky to travel through that road. I wrote to him (PM) because he is the highest authority and can solve any issue,” Abhinav was quoted as saying by ANI.
Abhinav's letter to the PM has received a reply from PMO, assuring appropriate action on the issue.
