Four prisoners escape in daring jailbreak in Karnataka, hunt on

Kalburgi: As many as four prisoners managed to escaped from Kalburgi Central Prison in Karnataka in the wee hours of Wednesday in an incident of daring jailbreak forcing the authorities to launch a massive search operation to nab them.

As per preliminary information, they drilled the barrack wall and then jumped from the compound wall.

The accused are Shiv Kumar, Sunil Kumar, Tajuddin and Laxman.

Shiv Kumar is facing charges of murder, while the rest are facing rape charges.
