The decision was taken during the state election committee meeting that took place in Thiruvananthapuram on Friday.

The list of candidates will be sent for an approval to the party chief Uddhav Thackeray.

Meanwhile, Shiv Sena party unit chief MS Bhuvanachandran said that the party would extend unconditional support to estranged BJP leader PP Mukundan if he contested in the state Assembly poll.

Bhuvanachandran mentioned that there were many in the BJP like Mukundan who had been overlooked by the party for elections.
