Sena MLA Pratap Sarnaik, who raised the issue through a point of propriety, said entry to women should be allowed at Trimbakaeshwar temple at Nashik and Mahalaxmi temple at Kolhapur, on the lines of decision at Shani Shingnapur temple in Ahmednagar district.

The Shani temple trustees recently allowed the women to enter into the core area of the shrine following an agitation by women's groups and a High Court ruling.

Ajay Chaudhari, another Shiv Sena MLA, demanded action against Indiabulls for allegedly encroaching a footpath at Elphinstone Road in Mumbai.

"Pedestrians are suffering due to this encroachment," he said, raising the issue through a point of propriety.
