Though results of narco test are not admissible in the court of law, they can can definitely give a lead to the city police to take its probe forward.

Mumbai Police had mentioned in its remand application before Bandra court yesterday that Indrani is not co-operating in its investigations into the case.

Senior Mumbai Police officials are now planning to approach court seeking its permission to conduct brain mapping, lie detector and polygraph test on Indrani and other suspects.

Indrani had initially admitted to killing Sheena in the car. However, she later retracted her statements saying Sheena was in the USA. When police confronted her again in the presence of Khanna, Indrani said Khanna strangulated Sheena to death while Khanna blamed Indrani saying he was fast asleep in the car.

"They have been changing their statements and also give evasive replies. The investigators may file an application before the court asking its permission to subject the accused to narcoanalysis, brain-mapping and lie-detector tests," a police officer was quoted as saying by 'The Times of India'.

"Once Indrani is subjected to the narco test, it is likely police will get a clear picture on certain doubts. During narco test, a subject is questioned by the forensic experts while in a semi-conscious state. However, the accused's consent is a must for narco test," a police source was quoted as saying.

The cops have also written to Facebook asking the details of Internet Protocol (IP) addresses of Sheena's email account accessed in the last four years.

In an interesting twist to the Sheena Bora murder case, Siddharth Das, who had a live-in relationship with media honcho Indrani Mukherjee, today claimed to be the biological father of the victim and her brother Mikhail Bora.

Das, who now lives in Dum Dum on the outskirts of the city, admitted that he never married Indrani and said the "ambitious woman" left him as he was not "well off".

"I met Indrani in 1986 and had a live-in relationship. Sheena was born in 1987 and Mikhail in 1988. I last spoke to Sheena when she was in class 10," Das told mediapersons here.

Das said Indrani left him in 1989 and since then, they never contacted each other.

"Yes, she was highly ambitious and money-minded, and perhaps she left me because I was not that well off," he said.

Das said he came to know about Sheena Bora's murder through the media, and said, "If she (Indrani) has killed Sheena, then she should get death. She deserves it."
