Zee Media Bureau/Tarun Khanna New Delhi: Congress has set three-month deadline for Aam Aadmi Party to deliver its agendas which the latter had promised before Delhi Assembly elections. The Congress leader Sandeep Dikshit on Wednesday said that there is no rethink in the party on the support it has declared for AAP government in Delhi. Besides this, he also said that AAP should reduce power tariffs without giving subsidies. He further added that AAP had asked for three months time to fulfil its promises, so it should be given a chance to implement them.
While AAP has laid down 18 promises and has also said that it would expose several scams within days of coming to power in the national capital, eyes are all set on the rookie party to deliver what it had promised.
BJP leader Balbir Punj too on Wednesday said that the promises made by AAP are impractical. He further said that it is time to see how AAP lives up to people`s expectations. On the other hand, AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal has assured to provide 700 litres of free water to each household within 24 hours and to introduce Jan Lokpal Bill in 15 days.
