Zee Media Bureau/Deepak Nagpal Srinagar: Ending weeks-long lull, Pakistan on Friday violated ceasefire along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir. As per reports, heavy shelling started from across the border in Pakistan this morning. The shelling happened in Kerni sector of Poonch district. Reports said small arms and automatic weapons were used in the shelling. "Pakistan Army started unprovoked firing at our positions using small arms and automatics at Shahpur area of Poonch sector. The firing started at 9.15 am. Our troops have responded with equal calibre weapons," Defence spokesman Col Manish Mehta said.
