New Delhi: Setting a new record, Delhi's boy Chetan Kakkar has bagged a job offer of $1,90,000 (Rs 1.25 crore approx) per annum from Google.

As per a report from Times of India, Kakkar, who is a final year student of Information Technology department at Delhi Technical University, will join the Google office in California after completing his course in 2016.


It is said that he has reportedly been offered the highest package in the history of DTU till date. The highest offer made so far in the DTU campus has been 93 lakh.


Kakkar, who's an alumnus of Springdales, Pusa Road said that DTU made a difference to his prospects.


Kakkar's mother Rita Kakkar is in the faculty of chemistry department and his father, Subhash Kakkar is a teacher of management studies.
