New Delhi: If you are a resident of Phoenix, Arizona and looking for a job then here's a great news for you. Internet giant google is looking for 'local drivers' to test it's self-automated cars.
Actually Google is hiring 'vehicle safety specialists' and operation associates who will be required to sit behind the wheels of its driverless cars and ready to intervene only if anything goes wrong.
According to the Verge reports, employees will get $20 per hour and expected to work under 12-24 month contracts driving vehicles from six to eight hours per day.
"Drivers are required to have a bachelor's degree, a clean driving record and criminal history, and the ability to type at least 40 words per minute. They will also be expected to keep their work confidential and will need to pass a number of in- and out-of-car training courses," the California-based company said in a statement.
Google says that drivers will also be required to submit their tests and experiences with the vehicle in the form of a daily report.
