New Delhi: After two years of its service, Microsoft recently announced sunset for Project Spark, a digital game creation platform.


According to The Verge reports, the sale of Project Spark was taken down from sale on May 13th but its online service is available till August 12, 2016.


For those who are not familiar with this platform, Project Spark is a digitally free and open game creation platform which allows its users to customize, create and enhance their gaming.


The tech giant in its official blog post mentioned that it is no longer feasible to keep Project Spark up and running with updates and bug fixes.


The company is ready to pay credits to the users who have purchased and redeemed the Project Spark Starter Kit sold in stores.
