New Delhi: The popular social networking site Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg celebrated the launch of Oculus Rift by unboxing the product via live-streaming.

Through Facebook live broadcast tool, Mark gave demonstration of the Rift to its potential users, from unboxing to talking about a future Oculus Rift related product.


Facebook purchased Oculus VR back in March 25, 2014 for $2 billion.


Oculus Rift was released on March 28, 2016.


During live-streaming published to Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg showed the viewers what's inside the Rift box and how to hook it up to a Windows PC.


The Oculus Rift requires a PC with certain hardware specs in order to power a fluid virtual reality experience.
