New Delhi: In an effort to make the app more simple and user-friendly, WhatsApp has introduced a new feature that allows its user to quote any older messages and reply to it.


This latest update is quite similar to Twitter's 'Quote' feature and Facebook's 'Share Post' feature and available in Android beta build (version 2.16.118).


Simply press and hold on the message you want to reply. Within seconds a series of options like star, reply, copy, delete, forward will appear above the chat bubble.


Tap reply icon and your message will appears a quote. When you send your reply it will include a colorful thumbnail of your chosen messages.


Soon WhatsApp users will also get the ability to send GIFs in the messages.
