New Delhi: Social-networking giant Facebook announced to relaunch Atlas, the ad platform, which will allow companies and marketers to see how effective their ads are on different websites.

The basic aim behind re-launching of the service was to allow advertisers to target ads across multiple devices and track them across the web.

Facebook has bought Atlas, an advertising technology from Microsoft for an estimated cost of $100 million in 2013.

Considering the fact that mobile advertising market is growing fast, it is believed that Atlas will give a competition to Google, which is at present the top dog in Internet advertising.
