New Delhi: In an attempt to encourage its users to move from outdated browsers to the new one, Google is deliberately serving the older version of the Internet giant's homepage.

In Google's official user forum service, many users complained of getting the old Google home page which has a black navigation bar at the top of the page, especially users who are still using Safari 5.1 and Opera 12 versions.

According to BBC, a Google message posted to the forum said the change was made to "encourage" people to upgrade their browser.

So if you are still using an old browser, its high time you should update it and come out of the ancient age.
