New Delhi: Pokémon Go, the recently-launched video game series has now become one of the most popular internet pastimes, surpassing the record of porn websites.

According to a report published in Telegraph, the online searches for Pokémon Go have outstripped those for porn for the first time, as per a data from Google.

The report further mentions that worldwide searches for the game outstripped those for porn by 33 per cent.

Google’s figures represent search queries as a proportion of all searches, rather than the number of searches, but are useful for comparing two different queries.
