Kabul: The toll from Monday's earthquake in Afghanistan has risen to 115 while the number of those injured has gone up to 538, Afghanistan President Ashraf Ghani said on Tuesday.

A quake measuring 7.6 on Richter Scale jolted parts of South Asian region including India, Afghanistan and Pakistan at 1.47 p.m. Afghan time, Xinhua news agency reported.


The disaster also left more than 200 people killed and over 1,600 people injured in Pakistan, according to officials.
