Asteroid to wipe out humanity by September 2015, NASA trashes claims

Yet again, conspiracy theorists have claimed that a cataclysmic climate event will destroy civilisation in just three months time.

As predicted on various blogs and websites, Earth will crash into giant space rocks and asteroids on September 24, 2015 that will wipe out human race on the face of the planet.

According to the theorists, the governments of the world’s leading nations are aware of the impending catastrophe but are keeping the information from the public to prevent mass panic while the elite prepare to survive the catastrophe.

NASA has trashed all these claims saying: "NASA knows of no asteroid or comet currently on a collision course with Earth, so the probability of a major collision is quite small.

"In fact, as best as we can tell, no large object is likely to strike the Earth any time in the next several hundred years."
