Chennai: Some would say its crossing all limits. Former Tamil Nadu CM O Panneerselvam and several other AIADMK leaders were seen bending to touch a road in Chennai on Monday to show 'respect' towards AIADMK chief J Jayalalithaa.

The event was witnessed when Jayalalithaa went to file her nomination papers in RK Nagar constituency in Chennai for the May 16 Assembly election.


As per a report in India Today, as soon as the AIADMK chief's SUV stopped outside the corporation office, Panneerselvam and other party leaders wished Jayalalithaa with folded hands and then bent and touched the road.
