Bareilly: In a miraculous incident, a baby girl born inside a toilet of a train survived after she slipped through the washroom outlet and fell on the tracks of Bhojipura railway station.

The mother and the baby have been admitted to a local hospital for treatment.


 


Upon hearing a woman crying for help from bathroom, passengers on board the 52204 Tankapur Izzat Nagar train pulled the alarm chain and brought the train to a halt.


According to The Times of India, passengers found the lady bleeding profusely.


Fellow passengers soon alighted, ran towards the baby and found that she was alive.


 


The woman has been identified as Pushpa Devi, a resident of Mohan Nagar Bhagatpur of Kanchanpur district in Nepal, who had come to Bareilly for an eye check-up and experienced labour pain during the journey. The mother said she had been left by her husband.
