Shocking! Confused over jurisdiction, Lucknow Police push unclaimed body into river

Lucknow: In yet another shocking incident that exposes the state of law and order in Uttar Pradesh, the Lucknow Police pushed an unclaimed body into the Gomti river only because they were not sure of the jurisdiction of the 'case'.

The police asked a fisherman to push the body down the river as it was confused about whether the unidentified body comes under the jurisdiction of Hazratganj or Mahanagar.

The identity of the dead man is yet to be ascertained.
