4.8 magnitude earthquake hits Pithoragarh, tremors felt in parts of Uttarakhand

New Delhi: Mild tremors were felt in parts of Uttarakhand on Tuesday afternoon.

As per the ANI, the epicentre is believed to be in Kumaon.

Media reports said that an earthquake of magnitude 4.8 struck Pithoragarh at around 2:57 pm.

The tremors were also felt in other parts of Uttarakhand.

No casualty has been reported so far.
