According to BollywoodLife.com, Mandana told Mumbai Mirror, “I didn’t leave my house, I love it. I haven’t been allowed to enter the house or even my husband’s office but that doesn’t mean I should get divorced. I am still his wife, I love Gaurav…I haven’t filed for divorce, I have only filed a domestic violence case.”

There were reports suggesting Mandy has filed for divorce over domestic violence and abuse which clearly she has refuted. The 'Kya Kool Hain Hum 3' actress has made it clear that she still loves her husband and has not filed for divorce. She has only filed a case of domestic violence.

The report quotes an interview of her with Bombay Times where she revealed, “My husband fell in love with me because I am a strong and independent woman, but I didn’t know that Indian mothers-in-law are so controlling. I quit acting as my husband didn’t want me to pursue it after marriage. I now realise that listening to him was my biggest mistake. I want to tell women not to quit work after marriage. I wanted mine to be a happy marriage, but I have been harassed. Now, I have been thrown out of my matrimonial house and I’m left with no money.”

She has blamed her mother-in-law Madhu Gupta for creating trouble in her married life, reportedly.
