New Delhi: Bollywood singer Jubin Nautiyal has been accused of molestation and physical assault by a couple at a hotel in Dehradun on Friday.

According to a Hindustan Times reports, Jubin filed a counter-complaint alleging that the two had gatecrashed his birthday party and later attacked him after the couple filed a complaint against him.


“Shashank Malik alleged in his complaint that Nautiyal molested his friend and, upon being confronted, attacked him,” The report quoted the police as saying, “He said the singer tried to take advantage of his partner when he stepped out for some work.”


However, Jubin counter-complained saying that Shashank Malik and his partner were not invited to his birthday party.“The singer alleged in his complaint that the two had come uninvited to his party, which was meant for family members and close friends only. He claimed that they attacked him when he confronted them in this regard, then left the hotel,” said Police.


Nautiyal further alleged that he was driving to the local bus terminal for some work when the couple forcibly stopped his car. “According to his complaint, the two assaulted him again and broke a windowpane of his car being fleeing. It was then that he came to the police station and lodged a complaint against them. We are checking CCTV footage from the hotel and questioning its staffers. No case has been registered until now, " the report revealed.
