Creta Size Electric Car Launched At Rs. 9.99 Lakhs: Range, Features Explained

Bookings for the Windsor EV will open on 3rd October, with deliveries starting on 13th October 2024. Available in four colors: Starburst Black, Turquoise Green, Clay Beige, and Pearl White, the Windsor EV measures 4.3 metres in length and has a 2,700mm wheelbase. It offers a 5-seat layout. For reference, the Hyundai Creta also measures 4.3 meters in length.

Windsor EV is powered by a 38kWh battery with prismatic cells with a front axle-mounted e-motor that delivers 136bhp and 200Nm of torque. It promises a range of 331km on a full charge. The EV offers four driving modes: Eco, Eco+, Normal, and Sport.

The Windsor EV comes with a black interior with wooden inserts, a 15.6-inch freestanding touchscreen, a fully digital driver’s display, a floating center console, two-spoke steering wheel, ambient lighting, wireless phone charging, an eight-speaker sound system, and more.

It also features a panoramic glass roof, automatic climate control, and ventilated front seats.

For comfort, the rear seats recline up to 135 degrees, and there are rear AC vents, a center armrest, and three-point seat belts for all passengers. Safety features include six airbags, a 360-degree camera, blind spot monitoring, tyre pressure monitoring, all-around disc brakes, and an electronic parking brake.

Described as an ‘Intelligent CUV,’ the Windsor EV blends the comfort of a sedan with the spaciousness of an SUV. Its design includes split headlamps, LED DRLs, flush door handles, 18-inch alloy wheels, and L-shaped LED taillights.
