Tata Curvv SUV: Tata Motors has finally unveiled the much-awaited Curvv SUV in its close-to-production avatar. Check out its design in the pictures below.

It will be first available in the EV version, launching on 7th August, which will soon be followed by the ICE counterpart. The company says that it blends the "toughness and practicality of an SUV with the elegance and sporty silhouette of a coupe."

The overall design of the Curvv (ICE and EV) appears to take inspiration from existing Tata cars, featuring connected LED DRLs and an all-LED headlight setup on the bumpers. It will sit above the Nexon in Tata Motors' portfolio.

The Curvv ICE boosts a blacked-out grille and petal-shaped dual-tone alloy wheels while the Curvv EV gets a body-coloured, closed-off panel for the grille and aerodynamically styled alloy wheels.

Both versions get flush-type door handles, the first time on any Tata car. At the rear, both versions of the Curvv sport a connected LED tail light setup that goes very well with the overall design.

Specifications of the Tata Curvv are yet to be revealed. However, the Curvv EV is likely to deliver a range of around 450km – 500km while the Curvv ICE could get new 125bhp, 1.2L, 3-cylinder turbo petrol unit and a 1.5L, 4-cylinder diesel engine that also powers the Nexon.

The Curvv ICE will be positioned against midsize SUVs, including the Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Kia Seltos. Currently, Creta dominates the midsize SUV segment.
