The new BSA Gold Star 650's name is inspired from original Gold Star, once the BSA’s most successful motorcycle and will be launched in an array of striking colour options.

The BSA Gold Star will be powered by a 652cc single-cylinder engine that makes 45 hp power at 4,000 rpm and 55 Nm torque at 6,000 rpm and is mated to a 5 speed transmission, with slip and assist clutch.

The bike gets twin pod instrument cluster with analogue speedometer and tachometer and an LCD multi-function display.

The BSA Gold Star gets on wire spoke alloy wheels measuring 18 inch at the front and 17 inch at the rear. The wheels are fitted with Pirelli Phantom Sportscomp tyres.

The BSA Gold Star wet weight stands at 213 kgs and has a wheelbase of 1,425 mm, seat height of 780 mm, and a fuel tank capacity of 12 litre.

It retains the iconic Gold Star design with the rounded headlamp, integrated LED DRLs, LED tail lamps and a tear drop shaped fuel tank.

It also gets wide set handle bars, a single piece seat and foot pegs for a more upright riding position. The broad fenders, chrome finish on headlamp and engine casing gives it a classic look.

This new BSA motorcycle will be offered in colour options of Insignia Red, Dawn Silver, Midnight Black, Highland Green and Silver Sheen (Legacy Edition).

The bike will go on sale in the UK first and will rival the Royal Enfield 650 Twins, Kawasaki W800 and Triumph Street Twin.
