Dell launches 5 new laptops for students, gamers and professionals: Price, features and specs

Dell has laucnhd Alienware x15 and Alienware x17 under the new Alienware X-Series laptops. The Alienware x15 laptop is powered by the 11th Gen Intel® Core™ i9-11900H processor, coupled with 32GB DDR4 RAM. 

 

Buyers will get a 1TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD storage with the laptop. Coming to the display features, the laptop sports a 15.6" FHD screen that offers a 360Hz refresh rate 300nits with GSYNC, and offers support for Nvidia DDS. The Dell Alienware x15 is retailing in India at Rs 2,40,990. 

Powered by the 11th Gen Intel® Core™ i9-11980HK processor, Alienware x17 is the better of the two laptops. The gaming laptop, which is priced at Rs 2,90,990, comes with a 32GB DDR4 and 1TB M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD storage. 

 

Alienware x17 sport NVIDIA® GeForce RTX™ 3080 16GB GDDR6 graphic card for the smooth running of high-end games and other graphics-intensive applications. The high-end model also gets a bigger 17.3" FHD display with a 360Hz refresh rate. 

Dell G15 series is for customers planning to use the laptop for both gaming and everyday use; more suited for students. The laptops under the G15 series are powered by either 11th Gen Intel TGL-H or AMD Ryzen processors​, paired with the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 Series graphic card. 

 

Dell G15 laptop comes with 16 GB or RAM and 512 GB, M.2 2230, PCIe NVMe Gen3 x4, SSD storage. The laptop sports a 15.6-inch Full HD display with narrow bezels. The display provides a refresh rate of 120Hz with 250 nits brightness. 

 

Dell G15 with AMD processor will retail at Rs 82,990 while the version with Intel processor inside will start selling at Rs 94,990 from September 23 onwards. 

Dell XPS 15 laptop is powered by the 11th Gen Intel CoreTM i9H processors. Customers can pair the processor with a graphic card of up to the Nvidia GeForce RTX 3050 Ti GPU range. 

 

The laptop’s display comes with a 4K Ultra HD+ display, which comes with 100% Adobe RGB and 94% DCIP 3 colour gamut. Customers will also get a 500-nits brightness that will improve the gaming experience. The XPS 15 will start selling at a starting price of Rs 2,23,990 from September 23. 

Dell XPS 17 is powered by the 11th Gen Intel Core i9-11980HK processor, coupled with Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 graphics. The 17-inch 4K UHD+ display offers 500 nits of peak brightness. 

 

The laptop is backed by a 97Whr battery and shares the same speaker setup as on Dell XPS 15. The newly launched laptop will be retailing at a starting price of Rs 2,64,490.
