From Meesho to Unacademy, 6 startups that FIRED employees in 2022!

Edtech startup Lido had laid off close to 200 employees as it was struggling with day-to-day operations.

OkCredit has laid off approximately 35-40 workers across all functions. Basically 35% of its workforce got fired.

Trell fired around 40-50% of its workforce. It laid off close to 300 people with immediate effect.

Furlenco had laid off around 180-200 employees, the majority of whom were in customer support areas such as grievance handling, scheduling, and other operations.

Unacademy had laid off about 600 employees due to non-performance and role redundancy as the company strives to increase efficiency and profitability by the end of this year.

Meesho has laid off approximately 150 people, largely from its supermarket division Superstore (Farmiso).
