Punjab National Bank has come up with a special Fixed Deposit scheme on the occassion of Christmas. PNB tweeted about the scheme on its official Twitter handle and shared the info-graphic. It is offering good interest rate, higher than what the bank offers to normal FDs.

Customers can apply in the Fixed Deposit (FD) scheme via PNB One App, internet banking or visit nearest branch.
PNB 666 Days FD Scheme interest rate
The scheme provides the interest rate of 8.10% on fixed deposit. It is higher than what the bank offers in nomal FD schemes including extra senior citizens' interest rates.
PNB 666 Days FD Scheme maturity period
As the scheme name suggests, it will mature in 666 days. Customers can withdraw their investment from this special scheme once the maturity period ends.
PNB 666 Days FD Scheme specialty
Usually, PNB offers interest rate up to 6.10 % to the FDs maturing between 7 days to 10 years. However, this scheme will give interest rate of 8.10%.
