Samsung Galaxy F42 5G launched in India ahead of Flipkart Big Billion Days: Price, features, launch offers

Samsung Galaxy F42 5G smartphone has been launched at a starting price of Rs 20,999 for the 6GB RAM+128GB storage variant while the model with 8GB RAM+128GB storage will retail at Rs 22,999. The smartphones are launched in two colours: Matte Aqua and Matte Black. 

Samsung Galaxy F42 5G will go on sale starting from October 3, 2021. Customers can purchase the smartphone from ecommerce platforms such as Flipkart, Samsung Online Store, and select retail outlets in India.

Samsung is offering special launch offers on the purchase of Galaxy F42 5G. This includes a discounted introductory price of Rs Rs 17,999 for the 6GB variant. Customers can also benefit from the no-cost EMI options and exchange discounts while buying the smartphone. 

Samsung Galaxy F42 5G packs a triple rear camera set up in the back, which includes a 64-megapixel primary shooter coupled with a 5-megapixel ultra-wide sensor and a 2-megapixel depth one. The camera offers several modes such as Hyperlapse, Pro Mode, and Night Mode, among others. In the front is an 8-megapixel selfie camera sensor for selfies.

Samsung Galaxy F42 5G is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC, and it operates on Android 11 with One UI 3.1 on top. The smartphone comes with up to 8GB of RAM. 

 

It packs a 6.6-inch full-HD+ display that offers a 90Hz refresh rate. Besides 5G, the smartphone also offers other connectivity options such as 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. For an impressive sound, the smartphone packs Dolby Atmos support. The smartphone packs a 5000 mAh battery.
