Tata Tigor’s design has been completely revamped for the electric variant of the four-wheeler. The car’s exterior appears a bit similar to other hatchbacks such as Tata Tiago and Tata Altorz.
Most importantly, the wheels of Tata Tigor sport blue accents to point out that the electric car is environmentally friendly.
Battery details of Tata Tigor EV
Tata Tigor EV is powered by a 26 kWh lithium-ion battery pack which is IP67 dust and water-resistant. The battery is said to be capable of churning out a peak performance of 73.75 hp and 170 Nm of peak torque. The battery is expected to offer a range of 250 km on a full charge.
Features of Tata Tigor EV
The homegrown automobile maker has revealed that the upcoming Tata Tigor EV will sport its Ziptron technology, which improves the overall performance of the electric car. Tata claims that the car can top 60 kmph in just 5.7 seconds. More features of the car will be revealed at the time of launch.
The upcoming electric four-wheeler comes with a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system coupled with a Harman audio system. Tata claims that the car offers over 30 connected car features.
Performance of Tata Tigor EV
Tata Tigor EV will offer two driving modes - Drive and Sports - to the riders. The electric car sports low-rolling-resistance tyres that reduce the road resistance by up to 10%, offering smoother rides.
Charging details of Tata Tigor EV
Customers of Tata Tigor EV can use company installed fast chargers or 12A home sockets to charge their electric car. Using a fast charger, one can charge the car from 0 to 80% in just one hour while the home charger charges the battery fully in eight hours.
