Upcoming car launches in India: MG Astor, Tata Punch and more
The Indian automobile Industry survived one of the most difficult periods for the sector because of the pandemic. Now the sector is seeing a rise in sales.
Tata Punch
Tata motors all set to reveal the production version of Tata Punch on October 4. The firm will reveal the engine and feature specification and will begin accepting bookings. Tata Punch will be launched during this festive season. Expected price of the car is Rs 5.5 lakh ex-showroom.
Mahindra XUV 700
Mahindra will start the booking of Mahindra XUV 700 from October 7th. The car has a 200bhp petrol engine.Mahindra XUV700 has been priced starting at Rs 11.99 lakh for the MX series (MT, petrol, 5-Seater) and Rs 12.99 lakh for the AX series (MT, petrol, 5-Seater) (Ex-showroom, all India).
MG Astor
Chinese firm MG is all set to launch MG Astor this month. It's a compact SUV. By this car MG stepping in the segment that is dominated by Koreans. It will have two petrol engine options 1.4 litre turbo charged with 4 cylinders and 1.5 litre with 4 cylinders.
Skoda slavia
Skoda will unveil Skoda Slavia at the end of this year. The Slovenia is expected to have 2 engine options 3 cylinder 1 litre turbo and 4 cylinder 1.5 litre turbo with manual and automatic transmissions. The car will likely have the longest wheelbase compared to cars in its segment. It is expected to be priced at Rs 10.1 lakh
Mercedes Benz S class
Mercedes launched the model a little earlier this year. The Mercedes is all set to begin the local assembly of this car. The official price is expected to be announced in the next few days.
Maruti Suzuki Celerio
The new generation of Celerio is expected to be bigger and more spacious. Boot space will also be increased. Celerio will feature two engines one litre petrol and 1.2 litre petrol. Celerio is expected to be priced at 4.5 lakhs
