WhatsApp users soon to send Voice Status of 30 seconds with text, Here`s all about this new feature - in PICS

What is working on a voice status feature that will allow users to send voice status of 30 seconds along with status texts.

The feature first will be avialable to iOS users. Android usesr have to wait more for it.

Like WhatsApp chat, the microphone icon will show up when you don’t enter any text within this section otherwise, it means you’re going to a text via status update as usual. 

Your voice status updates will only be shared with the people you choose within your privacy settings and they are always end-to-end encrypted.

The ability to share a voice note to your status update will be available in a future update.
