Founding Baweja Studios, he’s expanded into a range of projects, including web series, TV shows, regional films, and even animation. Looking ahead to 2024, Baweja Studios has a packed slate, including 'Boy from Andaman', Sanya Malhotra's 'Mrs.', and Kartik Aaryan’s 'Captain India'. Baweja studios has recently acquired the North Indian distribution rights for Superstar Rajinikanth's highly anticipated film, 'Vettaiyan.'

The global icon started her production house Purple Pebble Pictures - a film and television studio in 2015. With her mother Dr Madhu Chopra, they have produced films in regional languages such as Marathi, Bengali, Punjabi, and Bhojpuri. Ventilator, a Marathi comedy-drama produced by her banner won three national awards in 2016. She also produced The Sky Is Pink, which also starred her in a leading role. 

In 2023, Kriti Sanon announced the launch of her production house, Blue Butterfly Films, alongside her sister Nupur Sanon. The actress is all set to make her production debut with Do Patti, a film that stars Kriti herself, alongside Kajol and Shaheer Sheikh. Directed by Shashanka Chaturvedi and co-produced by writer Kanika Dhillon, the film has already sparked excitement, and it’s clear that Kriti’s move into production is one to watch closely.

Alia Bhatt ventured into production with her company, Eternal Sunshine Productions, launching her first project, Darlings. This dark comedy, starring Alia herself alongside Vijay Verma and Shefali Shah, told a gripping tale of love gone wrong. 

Anushka Sharma and her brother Karnesh Sharma co-founded Clean Slate Filmz, with their first production being NH10. Aamir Khan made an iconic transition to producer with his company, Aamir Khan Productions (AKP), which made its debut with Lagaan.
