The second wave of the deadly COVID-19 virus has been much worse and more infectious than the last. Amid the second wave, many Bollywood stars found themselves testing positive for COVID-19 as many had resumed shooting and were returning to normal routines at the beginning of 2021.

 

However, the lax regulations and decline in social distancing led to a spike in the COVID-19 cases which inevitably hit the Indian film industry.
