Deepika Padukone dons new look for `Gehraiyaan` promotions, goes all-white: PICS

Deepika Padukone is seen clad in a shirt with matching white pants. She completed the look with golden hoops and glam makeup and left her hair loose with soft curls in them. She rounded off her look with white pumps. 

The actress showed us how to get in right dressed in smart casuals. 

In the film, Deepika plays the role of 'Alisha Khanna', a 30-year-old ambitious woman, who finds herself at a crossroads in life. Her 6 year-long relationship has grown monotonous, her career seems to be hitting a lot of roadblocks and just when she had begun to accept this reality as unchangeable, her life is usurped by the arrival of her cousin, Tia and her fiance, Zain, with whom she bonds over a troubled past and a common wish to break from its confines.

Deepika recently hit headlines after she got into a feud with influencer Freddy Birdy after the latter's direct post for DP. It all started when an Instagram influencer, popular for insulting humour, shared a post on how women's clothes from Gehraiyaan will get shorter as the release date for the film approaches. After this post, Deepika Padukone shared a post on 'morons' which wasn't directed to anyone in particular. However, Freddy assumed it was for him. So, in response, he wrote a direct post addressing Deepika in it.

Directed by Shakun Batra, 'Gehraiyaan' also stars Rajat Kapur and Naseeruddin Shah in a pivotal roles. The film is all set to premiere on Amazon Prime Video on February 11, 2022.
