Dhavak chronicles the lives of Sudha Singh, a gifted young sprinter had aspirations to win a gold medal at the National Championships. Although cultural restrictions make her life difficult, she works hard to go where she wants to go. When Sudha's fate is decided by a "Race Swayamvar," the plot takes an intriguing turn. Sudha's quest is an attempt to motivate and inspire people, particularly women, to pursue their dreams and not give up. Dhavak is a thought-provoking movie that seeks to affect societal change. It has a strong screenplay and excellent editing.

Srishti Shrivastava and Vaibhav Talwar play the key characters in Dhavak. While Srishti's performance is admirable, Vaibhav excels as an IPS officer. Along with the outstanding ensemble, the creators of this short film have worked hard to make it enjoyable to watch. Dhavak comes to life thanks in part to debutant director-producer Abhishek Sharma, dialogue writer Pururava Rao, editors Akshara Prabhakar and Harshit Mahant, among others.

It provides the best entertainment for only 42 minutes of running time. This expertly made short film is highly enjoyable. Saying that "Dhavak is no less than a commercial entertainer with an inspirational plot" is accurate. One wouldn't mind a longer run time to go more into Sudha's journey because it is handled so flawlessly.
