Jiah starts getting big projects
A year later, Jiah Khan appeared in Aamir Khan's action-thriller 'Ghajini'. Jiah played a medical student who investigates the case of Sanjay Singhania, a business tycoon, who develops anterograde amnesia following a violent encounter. Despite being an Aamir Khan's film, Jiah's performance was once again apprecited by critics. 'Ghajini' became the highest-grossing Indian film of 2008, and the first Bollywood film to cross the Rs 100 crore mark domestically, creating the 100 crore club.
Jiah bags Sajid Khan's comedy film Housefull
Unlike her first two films, which were bit severe in genre, Jiah was seen next in a comedy film 'Housefull'. She played a supporting role as Devika K. Samtani, the ex-wife of Akshay Kumar's character. 'Housefull' was a multi-starrer film and featured cast like Akshay Kumar, Arjun Rampal, Ritesh Deshmukh, Lara Dutta, Malaika Arora Khan, Deepika Padukone among others.

Although 'Housefull' received mostly negative remarks, it went on to be a hit. It emerged as the fifth-highest grosser of 2010. The film marked the last screen appearance of Jiah Khan, who died three years after its release on June 3, 2013.
Jiah had signed several other projects which she couldn't complete
Jiah had signed a few movies including Udhas Singh's 'Aap Ka Saaya', in which she was supposed to star opposite Ranbir Kapoor. According to reports, Jiah was to essay the role of Kapoor's wife. in the film. Unfortunately, this film couldn't be completed.
