'Bharat' strarring Salman Khan is being directed by Ali Abbas Zafar. The film is set in the backdrop of India in the 1940s and will take us through the events during the country’s partition. Not just that, the film will showcase significant events over a period of 70 years since partition.

The film has Katrina Kaif as the leading lady. She will be sharing screen space with her former real-life beau Salman Khan yet again after delivering a blockbuster like 'Tiger Zinda Hai' in 2017. The film also stars Disha Patani, Tabu, Nora Fatehi, Jackie Shroff, Sunil Grover and Aasif Sheikh in pivotal roles.

Bharat, is an official Hindi remake of South Korean film Ode to My Father. It will be Salman Khan's third venture with Ali Abbas Zafar. The two have delivered blockbusters like 'Sultan' and 'Tiger Zinda Hai'.

Bharat is being produced by Salman Khan's brother-in-law Atul Agnihotri. Former Miss World Priyanka Chopra was initially on board the film as its leading lady but she walked out of it due to personal reasons. After her exit, Katrina joined team Bharat.
