Top South Actors Who Rejected Big Bollywood Films: Allu Arjun, Nayanthara To Yash

Not many know that several prominent names from the South movie industry were first choices for several blockbuster Bollywood movies. Actors including Pushpa fame Allu Arjun, Nayanthara and KGF star Yash, are a few among others to declined Hindi movie roles for different reasons. Take a look here:

Baahubali fame Anushka Shetty was reportedly offered a role opposite Ajay Devgn in Singham which later went to Kajal Aggarwal. 

Rashmika Mandanna was reportedly approached for Jersey but could not take it due to her work commitments.

Saif Ali Khan-starrer Laal Kaptaan was initially offered to Yash. However, the KGF star declined it.

Nayanthara was allegedly approached for a cameo in Chennai Express but she was keen on a bigger role. 

Sandeep Vanga Reddy's biggest hit 'Animal' starring Ranbir Kapoor in the lead was reportedly first offered to Mahesh Babu. 

Reports suggest Bajrangi Bhaijaan was first offered to Allu Arjun, however, he turned it down and later Salman Khan played the lead.
