Over 30,000 fresh COVID cases in Kerala
Kerala has been recording over 30,000 fresh cases for the past three days even after the government restricted mass gatherings ahead of festivals such as Muharram and Onam.
Nearly 70% of the country's total caseload
The state government had reported 31,265 new infections late on Saturday comprising nearly 70% of the country's total new daily cases.
Kerala imposes night curfew too
Apart from the Sunday curfew, Kerala has also imposed night restrictions from 10 pm to 6 am to slow down the spread of infections.
