New Delhi: BJP Chief JP Nadda and Union Home Minister Amit Shah addressed rallies In Assam on Monday (March 22). Both of them launched scathing attacks on Congress, making the comparison that under the BJP government much more progress has been achieved.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Monday said BJP has ensured peace and development in Assam during the last five years and alleged that this was in contrast to violence and instability during the Congress rule.

He accused the Congress of a policy of divide and rule, while stating that BJP's policy is 'Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas and Sabka Vishwas'.
JP Nadda thanked the people for their response
"Your enthusiasm shows that you have decided to help the BJP win. While serving the public, worrying about Assam, BJP has been at the forefront of contributing to the progress of Assam," JP Nadda said in Assam.
He launched a scathing attack on Congress as well
J P Nadda accused the Congress of practising "politics of opportunism" and said Assam will head into days of "darkness" if the opposition party is voted to power.
There was a good turnout to both Amit Shah and JP Nadda's rallies
On seeing the enthusiastic crowd, JP Nadda said "This atmosphere of today's public meeting in Assam is of joy, to bless victory."
