A blue jellyfish washed up shore Mumbai's Juhu beach causing concerns as the stunningly beautiful but poisonous jellyfish and can kill a person with one little sting. The Mangrove Cell in association with the Marine Life of Mumbai (MLOM) has warned citizens to be wary.

Blue bottle jellyfish is highly poisonous
In order to create awareness about this, the Mangrove Cell in association with the Marine Life of Mumbai (MLOM) issued a warning. The precautions were necessitated after several jellyfish washed up on shore and many Mumbaikars were stung by them a few years ago.
Blue bottle jellyfish's sting can kill a man
The sting of the jellyfish can cause rashes, swelling and terrible pain. If is advised to pour seawater on it or in a worst-case scenario, the victim is asked to visit the hospital.
Blue bottle jellyfish get stuck in sand and die
These marine creatures usually end up dead as it is difficult for them to get back into the water as once they are washed up the shore. They get stuck in the sand and movement becomes difficult causing them to die.
