These states reported the most new coronavirus-related deaths
Ten states account for 73.17% of the new coronavirus-related deaths with Maharashtra seeing the maximum casualties (793), followed by Karnataka (480) and Delhi (347).

COVID-19 vaccination status in India
The cumulative number of COVID-19 vaccine doses administered in the country has crossed 17.52 crore on Wednesday morning. These include 95.82 lakh health care workers (HCWs) who have taken the 1st dose and 65.39 lakh HCWs who have taken the 2nd dose, 1.41 crore front line workers (FLWs) (1stdose), 79.52 lakh FLWs (2nd dose).
It also includes 30.44 lakh beneficiaries under the 18-45 age group (1st dose) and 5.58 crore (1st dose) and 78.36 lakh (2nd dose) beneficiaries aged 45 to 60 years. Over 5.3 crore 1st dose beneficiaries and 1.62 crore 2nd dose beneficiaries of more than 60 years old have also been vaccinated.
