Delhi Unlock 2.0: No visitors allowed inside religious places

The national capital was first put under a complete lockdown on April 19, which was further extended due to the COVID-19 situation. However, with a decline in the number of coronavirus cases, the restrictions were relaxed starting May 30.

Delhi, which was put under a complete lockdown on April 19, has now started to gradually reopen in a phased manner.

 

The step has been taken in view of the significant drop in COVID-19 cases in the national capital, which, on Saturday, recorded 66 new infections and two deaths.  Delhi currently has 579 active coronavirus cases.

 

Below are the activities that are permitted or are still prohibited.

All malls, markets and market complexes can continue functioning between 10 AM and 8 PM. Restaurants (8 AM to 10 PM) and bars (12 PM to 10 PM) will remain open with 50 per cent capacity.

Public transport such as autos, e-rickshaws, taxis, cabs, gramin sewa and phat phat sewa are allowed to operate with up to two passengers. Public transport such as Maxi cab allowed to operate with up to five passengers.
